FACES OF AMVOTE: SANA’A HUSSEIN

As an Executive Board member of AMVOTE-PAC, Sana’a Hussein has contributed her time to fund-raising and community development issues.  An Attorney, Sana’a is founder and owner of the Law Offices if Sana’a Hussein & Associates, PC where their practice is focused on Commercial and Corporate Transactions, Civil Litigation, Real Estate Development, and Estate Planning.

In addition to her involvement with AMVOTE-PAC, Sana’a also serves on various other Committees, including the Arab American Business & Professional Association, Arab American Bar Association of Illinois, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, St. Mary Orthodox Church, Mother of Hope Children’s Home, and Americans for a Vibrant Palestinian Economy.

Sana’a has achievements that go beyond the local level as well. Over the course of her career, she has been engaged in various international activities through parts of the Middle East and North Africa. Sana’a has served as a US delegate to the Middle East and North Africa Economic Summits for three years held in Amman, Jordan; Cairo, Egypt; and Doha, Qatar, led by the US Secretary of Commerce. Furthermore, Sana’a was a member of Mayor Richard M. Daley’s delegation to Amman, Jordan.

Last but certainly not least; Sana’a has devoted her time to help those in need. With the Consortium for Palestinian Legal Aid her efforts were aimed at fostering improvments in the legal education system in both the West Bank and Gaza regions. Through the Middle East/North Africa Economic Summit she contributed to activities promoting regional peace via economic development among 100+ participating countries, and as a part if the National Lawyers Guild, Sana’a advocated on behalf of Palestinian and Iraqi prisoners, resulting in commutation of their sentences.

We are very proud of the work Sana’a has done and are thrilled she is a part of the AMVOTE team!
